MEET KEVIN & LISA

MEET LISA:

I have lived in Northeast Tennessee all of my life.  I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1988 with a degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice.  I worked in Social Work for several years but have devoted most of my time to my family….which has been an honor.  I am married to Kevin.  We married in December of 1988.  We have been incredibly blessed with three children, two teenage girls, and a feisty 9 year old boy.  Other than taking pictures, I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends, playing tennis, and traveling.
I have had a love for photography for as long as I can remember.  To be doing it as a profession is a dream come true......a huge thanks to my husband (my biggest supporter and fan) and to my God and Savior.  I have to mention my brother, before I go any further.  He gave me my first "real" canon camera with manual features years ago, which inspired me and fueled my passion even more.  My brother is no longer on earth with us, but I have no doubt he is looking down from heaven, amazed that his act of simple kindness has taken me so far.
I absolutely love doing what I do. It is incredible to capture moments that will never be again, but can be relived and passed down through the generations with a portrait.  To me portraits are "life standing still".
I love capturing imagines of children of all ages.  God has made us all unique and individualized.  "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made:  your works are wonderful, I know that full well."  Psalms 139:14  To capture each one's uniqueness and individuality is my goal as a photographer.
Kevin and I experience so much joy from what God has gifted us with.  Nothing is more rewarding to me personally than seeing a mother or father cry, gasp for air, or beam with pride, when they view the images and expressions that have been captured of their precious children.
I passionately love to capture images from the timeless, classic masterpieces, to our themed portraiture that transforms into beautiful pieces of art or paintings to be cherished by many for years to come.
The work I do is for YOU!!!  I am honored and blessed to be the vessel to provide you with the look, images and portraits you desire.

MEET KEVIN:
I am a beach boy originally from Wilmington, N.C.  I moved to Tennessee in 1984 and graduated from E.T.S.U. in 1988 with a degree in technology/graphic arts.  I taught school for a number of years before becoming employed by Eastman Chemical Company, where I remain today.
Lisa considers me to be the technical guru and relies heavily on me for my mastery of lighting and computer  skills.
One of the things I enjoys the most is the interactions with the children.  Most of the time I find myself having as much fun as the children themselves during a typical session.  I devote a lot of my effort and time to entertaining the kids, getting their minds off "having their pictures made", finding out what makes them laugh, which is the true art of capturing their real simile and  unique personality of the child.
Don't be surprised to find me behind the camera as well.  I love photography and bring a lifestyle journalistic approach to it.  My style is to balance artificial and natural light with non- traditional composition techniques.  Seniors love the edgy, creative style.  My style is what draws seniors to Bryan Studio.
My hobbies are golfing, boating, and spending time with my wife and three kids.  My goal in life is to become photo editor for Motor Trend Magazine and to share the love of Jesus Christ with all that I meet.
